Ferrous indicates the presence of iron. Ferrous metals are magnetic. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

Nonferrous Metals
Metals and alloys that are non-iron-based metals and are non-magnetic. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Aluminum Siding
- Misc. Clean Aluminum Scrap such as
auto/truck rims - Aluminum with Steel attachments (Irony Aluminum)
- Aluminum Cans (UBC’s)
- Cast Aluminum
- Extruded Aluminum
- Aluminum Copper Radiators
- Brass
- Bare Bright Copper
- No. 1 Copper
- No. 2 Copper
- Light Copper (flashing)
- Auto & Truck Radiators
- Auto, Truck & Industrial Batteries
- Lead

- Firearms and Munitions (Except by prior arrangement)
- Free-Flowing Liquids or non-metallic solids
- Glass
- Material with “HAZMAT” markings or images
- Material with “Radioactive” markings or images
- PCB’s/Capacitors
- Radioactive material
- Rocks
- Rubber
- Solid Waste
- Unopened, Sealed or pressurized Containers such as propane tanks, fire extinguishers, commercial/home heating tanks, acetylene tanks
- Wood
